MP Brijmohan Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones for Development Projects Worth ₹762 Crores

Serving the people and ensuring holistic development of the region are my top priorities. The continuation of these development efforts has only been possible due to the trust and support of the people, said Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal, who is consistently working for the progress of the Raipur Lok Sabha constituency.
In a significant stride toward regional development, MP Agrawal inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various projects worth approximately ₹762 crores, bringing new opportunities for progress to the citizens.
He inaugurated the newly constructed Swargiya Baburao Dani Maratha Boarding built at a cost of ₹20 lakhs by the Maratha Mitra Mandal. During the event, senior members of the community were also honored.
Agrawal laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹1.19 crores in Shaheed Pankaj Vikram Ward including the installation of an open gym for ₹5.66 lakhs. Major projects include electrification, shed construction, and beautification at Naraiya Talab Garden costing ₹100.11 lakhs and the construction of CC roads and drains around the pond for ₹18.9 lakhs.
In Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Ward he initiated projects worth ₹58.23 lakhs, including the construction of CC roads in Sanjay Nagar, a gymnasium near Khade Hanuman, a community hall in Chhabi Gali, repair and development of Sukha Garden, and other public utility projects in Bakra Market.
Additionally, in Chandrashekhar Azad Ward Agrawal laid the foundation stone for CC road and drain construction projects amounting to ₹38.74 lakhs. He also approved ₹125 lakhs for the crematorium in Gokul Nagar and ₹140 lakhs for the beautification of local ponds.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Agrawal stated that his efforts toward the region’s development would continue unabated. He emphasized that these initiatives would significantly enhance the quality of life for residents, providing them with better infrastructure and conveniences. He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people and promoting the area’s growth as long as he lives.
The event was attended by notable personalities, including Chairman Pramod Dubey, Opposition Leader Meenal Chaubey, Deputy Opposition Leader Manoj Verma, councilors Seema Kandoi, Savita Verma, Savitri Sahu, Devendra Yadav, Zone Commissioner Ramesh Jaiswal, EE Atul Chopra, Subhash Tiwari, Shamim Akhtar, Murli Sharma, Radhe Kaka, and Ashish Dhangar, among others.
Inauguration and Foundation Stones for Projects Worth ₹255.87 Lakhs in Arang
Earlier on Saturday, MP Agrawal inaugurated and laid foundation stones for projects worth ₹2.26 crores in Deori, Parsakol, and Akoli Kala (Bhau) villages under Arang Assembly Constituency, in the presence of local MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb. He also approved an additional ₹30 lakhs for various works.
The projects include roads, water supply schemes, community buildings, and other essential infrastructure developments. These initiatives aim to strengthen the foundation of rural infrastructure, bringing positive changes to the lifestyle of residents in these areas.
