Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Tokhan Sahu, attended the Atal Tribute & Excellence as the chief guest at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. The event, organized by the Topnotch Foundation, was dedicated to paying homage to India’s great leader and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The program witnessed the presence of social workers, entrepreneurs, academicians, doctors, and other notable personalities united by a shared goal: to celebrate excellence and inspire future generations through Vajpayee Ji’s ideals. The event also had Smt. Raksha Khadse, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, as a chief guest.

Sahu highlighted that 2024 marks the centenary of Vajpayee Ji’s birth, a leader whose impact transcended political boundaries.
“Atal Ji was a true son of Bharat Mata. His simplicity, vision, and leadership pave the way for us all. His governance was a blend of compassion and commitment, dedicated to building a strong and united India. Today, as we honor those who carry forward his ideals, we are reminded that good governance is not just a slogan but a way of life.”
He further emphasized Vajpayee Ji’s legacy as a man of principles, whose leadership not only guided the nation but also inspired the world.
“Vajpayee leadership was instrumental in transforming India into a global power. His government’s contributions, such as the Pokhran nuclear tests, the Kargil victory, and the pursuit of good governance, left an indelible mark on India’s developmental trajectory.”
Sahu also praised the leadership of current Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the government has continued Vajpayee Ji’s legacy by focusing on inclusive growth and fostering a culture of good governance.
Under PM Modi’s leadership, the government has worked tirelessly to uplift the poor, empower women, and provide opportunities to the youth and farmers, ensuring the delivery of services to the last person in line, he said.
