Raipur >>Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Urban Administration and Development, Mr. Arun Saw, inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development works worth over ₹36 crore in Mungeli today. In a program held at Agar Sports Complex, he inaugurated works worth more than ₹5.43 crore, including the beautification of various squares, construction of roads, and establishment of tube poles.

Mr. Saw also announced new development projects worth ₹25 crore for Mungeli, including a new Municipal building and parking complex for ₹5.5 crore, the upgrade of Gaurav Path for ₹4.3 crore, and other infrastructure projects across the city. He expressed that under Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai’s leadership, Mungeli’s development is progressing rapidly and that the city’s historic legacy would be reflected in its growth.

Additionally, Mr. Saw announced the construction of various public infrastructure facilities, including community buildings, cremation grounds, and other civic amenities, with total estimated costs across multiple wards. He also introduced plans for a high-tech bus stand and Nalanda complex in Mungeli, worth ₹6.2 crore and ₹4.41 crore respectively.

With these developments, the city aims to enhance the quality of life for its citizens by modernizing infrastructure and creating more public spaces. Various dignitaries, including the district collector, police superintendent, and members of the local municipal council, were present at the event.
