Labor Minister Mr. Devangan Transfers 23.22 Crore INR to Over 41,000 Workers’ Accounts

Raipur >>Labor Minister Mr. Lakhan Lal Devangan transferred 23.22 crore INR via DBT to the bank accounts of over 41,000 workers at the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers’ Board office in Nawa Raipur today. Under Vishnu Dev’s government, workers and their families continue to receive benefits from various schemes. Over 37,000 construction workers received 14.83 crore INR, and 4,928 unorganized sector workers received 8.39 crore INR. Additionally, 28 workers received pension and aid under the “Didi E-Rickshaw Assistance Scheme.” In total, 23.22 crore INR has been transferred to workers through DBT.
During the program, the Labor Minister presented checks to several beneficiaries under various schemes, including the Chief Minister’s Construction Worker Death and Disability Assistance Scheme, Chief Minister’s Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme, and Didi E-Rickshaw Assistance Scheme.
Minister Devangan emphasized that under Chief Minister Vishnu Dev’s leadership, workers and their families are receiving rapid benefits through successful implementation of welfare schemes by the three labor boards. From January to November 2024, 375 crore INR has been transferred to workers.
