Available 24/7 on both its website and WhatsApp, the platform offers sex-positive, non-judgmental, and medically accurate information, while being age-appropriate, culturally sensitive, and gender-inclusive.
The chatbot addresses a critical need by providing young people and marginalized communities with a safe and stigma-free space to discuss sexual health and access expert guidance. Free of cost and highly scalable, StandWeSpeak is planning to expand into multilingual versions, making information on sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) more accessible. It won the FPAI-Villgro Innovation Challenge in 2020, secured second place in the Action Accelerator Program (Asia/Australia category) and received the Honorable Startup Award at the SexTech Awards 2021 It was also listed among the top 27 social innovators by the UNDP Innovations Marketplace for Gender Equality and is a member of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network-Youth
