Deputy CM Announces New Projects in Jhafal and Bandhwa
Raipur >>Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao is actively inspecting the ground realities of development projects. On Thursday, he conducted a surprise inspection of the CC road in Tulsaghat Ward of Lorami Municipality, Mungeli district. During his visit, he interacted with locals about the road’s quality and addressed their concerns. He also performed a groundbreaking ceremony for a ₹14-lakh road and approved ₹80 lakh for various development projects in the area. Responding to residents’ demands, he promised the construction of a bridge over the Maniyari River.
At Ward-15 of Lorami Municipality, he inspected the under-construction Satnam Bhavan and instructed officials to complete it on time. He also laid the foundation for development works worth ₹44 lakh at the Lorami High School grounds, including a ₹25-lakh boundary wall and ₹19-lakh lighting system for hosting events at night.
Highlighting progress, Mr. Sao announced that ₹53 crore had been approved for Lorami’s development in the past year.
During his visit, the Deputy CM participated in the annual function of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Middle School, Jhafal, where he inaugurated a cultural stage and announced ₹10 lakh for the school and ₹5 lakh for a Navdha Ramayana stage in Jhafal Ganga Nagar. At Dashrathlal America Bai Model Higher Secondary School in Bandhwa, he attended the youth felicitation ceremony and honored students selected for competitive exams. He also announced the construction of a CC road connecting Eklavya School to Dashrathlal School and pledged funds for it.
