School children took a creative approach to spreading voter awareness, while women lit lamps to convey the message of voting.
Durg >> – Under the directives of Collector and District Election Officer Ms. Richa Prakash Chaudhary, a continuous voter awareness campaign is being conducted in urban and rural areas of the district as part of the Jabo program for the Urban Body/ Three-Tier Panchayat General Elections 2025.
As part of this initiative, women and children launched a unique effort to educate voters about their rights and the importance of voting. Women lit lamps to highlight the significance of voting, delivering the message that every single vote is crucial for strengthening democracy. Their inspiring act spread a wave of positive energy within the community, encouraging voter participation. Additionally, women created rangoli designs and took an oath for 100% voting, motivating others to cast their votes.
Under the Jabo program, school students across the district also played an active role in voter awareness. Through captivating artwork, they effectively conveyed the importance of voting to the masses. Using drawings, students illustrated the voting process, including how to vote using EVM machines and ballot papers. Moreover, they inspired people through powerful slogans emphasizing the significance of voting.
The drawings and slogans created by the students sparked voter awareness and encouraged people to actively participate in the elections. Their efforts simplified and made the voting process more engaging, reinforcing the message that voting is both a right and a responsibility for every citizen.
