15 Trainee IAS Officers Visit Municipal Corporation Headquarters, Review Smart City Projects

Raipur – As per the directions of Raipur District Collector and Municipal Corporation Administrator Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, 15 trainee IAS officers visited the Raipur Municipal Corporation headquarters, Mahatma Gandhi Sadan. They met Municipal Commissioner and Managing Director of Raipur Smart City Limited, Mr. Abhinash Mishra, and gained insights into various public welfare schemes being implemented in the capital city.

A PowerPoint presentation was conducted by Smart City officials in the municipal headquarters’ conference hall. The presentation provided detailed information on the Nalanda Complex, Takshashila Library, Swami Vivekananda Sarovar (Budha Talab), and other welfare projects. The trainee officers showed keen interest in the efficient management of the Nalanda and Takshashila libraries. They discussed the popularity of these libraries and their significance for students preparing for competitive exams.

The officers also attentively learned about other initiatives run by the Municipal Corporation and Smart City Limited, gaining an understanding of their execution. Municipal Commissioner Mr. Mishra provided information on cleanliness, waste management, and the effective implementation of various welfare schemes in Raipur.

On this occasion, the trainee IAS officers appreciated the Smart City projects and the efforts of the Municipal Corporation. They particularly praised the library facilities made available for students, recognizing them as a great resource for aspirants preparing for competitive exams.

The officers commended the ongoing efforts of the Municipal Corporation and Smart City, stating that these initiatives play a crucial role in the development of Raipur. The municipal administration provided them with in-depth insights into various schemes and their successful execution.

This visit proved to be highly beneficial for the trainee IAS officers, allowing them to closely understand the different projects of the Municipal Corporation and Smart City and witness their direct impact.
