Raipur >> Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of International Mother Language Day (February 21).

Languages such as Chhattisgarhi, Gondi, Halbi, Sargujia, Kurukh, and Bhathri play a vital role in preserving the region’s cultural essence. International Mother Language Day serves as a reminder to protect, promote, and develop our native languages.
He further stated that a mother tongue is not just a means of communication but also a bridge connecting people to their roots. Chhattisgarh’s folk songs, stories, and traditional wisdom are preserved in its native languages, and it is our responsibility to pass this heritage on to future generations.
