Jashpurnagar >>Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai attended the closing ceremony of the All India Gold Cup Football Tournament, organized in memory of Late Dilip Singh Judeo, at Ranjita Stadium, Jashpur. Addressing the event, the CM emphasized the state government’s commitment to promoting sports and supporting athletes.
He announced that under the Khelo India initiative, the Chhattisgarh government will award ₹3 crore to Olympic gold medalists, ₹2 crore for silver medalists, and ₹1 crore for bronze medalists. Additionally, he declared the renovation of Ranjita Stadium to enhance sports infrastructure in the region.
The Chief Minister congratulated and extended his best wishes to all the players from 16 states across India who participated in the tournament. He interacted with the athletes and encouraged them.

The tournament, which commenced on February 8 and concluded on February 23, 2025, witnessed the participation of top football teams from 16 states, including:

The final match was played between MEG Bangalore and South Eastern Central Railway, Nagpur on February 23, 2025. In the semifinals, MEG Bangalore defeated Maa Kamakhya Sports Club, Buxar, while South Eastern Central Railway, Nagpur, won against C-Land Kerala with a 4-1 score.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai watched the thrilling final match between Railway Nagpur and MEG Bangalore and extended his heartfelt congratulations to the organizing committee for successfully hosting the tournament.
Sports Enthusiasm Returns to Jashpur
After a five-year gap, national-level football teams once again played at Ranjita Stadium, bringing immense excitement to sports enthusiasts in Jashpur. The tournament attracted a massive audience, with spectators from both the city and nearby rural areas enjoying the thrilling football action.
