Raipur >> The people have shown immense trust in the BJP in urban body elections, leading to a historic victory. BJP secured all ten municipal corporations, proving the success of the double-engine government. Now, the top priority for newly elected mayors should be to uphold public trust and fulfill the promises of the Atal Vishwas Patra ensuring better civic amenities for all.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, addressing newly elected mayors in the Assembly today, extended congratulations and best wishes for their tenure. He credited BJP’s historic victory to the dedication of party workers, leaders, and legislators. He highlighted that within just 14 months, the government has fulfilled all guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, further strengthening public faith in BJP.
The Chief Minister also emphasized BJP’s resounding success in the three-tier Panchayat elections, where approximately 81% of BJP-supported candidates emerged victorious. He stated that the Congress is in a dire state, struggling even to find proposers and supporters in many places, as the people have completely lost trust in them.
The meeting was attended by Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, State BJP President Kiran Singh Deo, along with ministers, MLAs, and party officials.
