Raipur >>Today, a special gift came for Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and the cabinet ministers from the Madanar School in the Narayanpur Assembly constituency. The students of Government Upper Primary School, Madanar, gifted handmade wooden nameplates to the Chief Minister and all the ministers. CM Sai was so pleased with the gift that he immediately had the nameplate placed on the table in his chamber at the ministry and asked all the ministers to do the same in their chambers. The children visited the CM at his office in the ministry today.
The Chief Minister, on this occasion, said that the dedication with which the children of Bastar are advancing their incredible art is commendable. The enthusiasm of the children towards learning and education will open the path to Bastar’s development. He interacted with the children and praised their skills. CM Sai expressed his happiness upon learning that the children had acquired this skill through training under the new education policy. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s objective was to ensure that children, through the new national education policy, not only study but also excel in the work they are passionate about. Making education interesting, preserving art and culture, and fulfilling the larger goal of employment is becoming a reality through the new education policy.
During this time, the children presented the Chief Minister with the preamble of the Constitution carved on wood and gave portraits to Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma. The teacher accompanying the schoolchildren, Shivcharan Sahu, informed the CM that the nameplate was made by 12th-grade student Kashik, the portrait was made by Khilendra Baghel, and the preamble of the Constitution was created by student Sagar. He shared that all the children received training in former vocational education under the new national education policy, and the children are learning it with great interest. Shri Sahu also mentioned that the sales of these artworks generate about 3 lakh rupees annually. These creations are now available in major online marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.
Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Tankram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade, and Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan were also present at the event.
