Under the direction of Housing and Environment Minister O.P. Choudhary, Chhattisgarh Housing Board’s Executive Engineer C.K. Thakur and Assistant Engineer Neeraj Thakur have been suspended due to irregularities found in construction work. Additionally, a notice has been issued to blacklisting the contractor, M/s N.K. Construction, Durg. Minister Choudhary emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, no irregularities in quality or administrative work will be tolerated. Following complaints about construction delays and irregularities in Bhairamgarh, Bhopalpatnam, and Usur blocks, the contractor’s registration was canceled after investigation. The contractor received payment for work not done during the previous administration. The suspension aims to ensure transparency and timely delivery of quality government housing.
