Labor Minister Transfers ₹31.81 Crores to Workers’ Accounts, Announces Educational Benefits
Raipur >> Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan today transferred ₹31.81 crore via DBT to the bank accounts of over 78,000 workers at his office in Shankar Nagar. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, several schemes benefiting workers and their families are being implemented effectively. Minister Devangan also announced that under the Atal Excellence Education Scheme, workers’ children would be admitted to schools from the next academic session, with expenses borne by the government. He highlighted that over ₹430 crore has been transferred to workers under various schemes between September 17, 2024, and January 17, 2025. Minister Devangan also distributed checks for scholarships and other assistance to workers’ families during the program.
