Five-Day Workshop Under National Education Policy 2020 Organized at Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education
Raipur, 3 February 2025: A five-day workshop and training session, under the National Education Policy 2020 and as per the directives of NCERT Parakh New Delhi, is being organized at the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education in Raipur. The first two days, on February 3 and 4, focused on the Holistic Progress Card, while the three-day workshop, from February 5 to 7, is dedicated to standardizing the question paper template. The workshop is being guided by Professor Indrani Bhaduri, Head of NCERT Parakh, with three resource persons from NCERT Parakh New Delhi conducting the training.
Addressing the participants, Secretary Mrs. Pushpa Sahu emphasized that the Holistic Progress Card is a new way to evaluate students’ academic performance. Through this card, the overall evaluation of students will be conducted, focusing on all aspects of their development. Teachers from all districts of Chhattisgarh are being trained as master trainers in this workshop. After receiving training, they will provide similar training to the principals and lecturers of all high and higher secondary schools in their respective districts for the new academic session.
Professor Indrani Bhaduri, Head of NCERT Parakh, elaborated on the necessity of equality and the importance of digital learning in secondary education. She also discussed the need for the Holistic Progress Card (HPC) in detail. The workshop further discussed community-based projects. Deputy Secretary Mr. J.K. Agrawal advised all trainees to focus fully on learning and to abandon negative thinking, aiming to perform their best in their field of influence.
The program was successfully conducted by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Assistant Professor and Nodal Officer of the National Education Policy 2020.
The workshop also saw the presence of Assistant Professors Mrs. Preeti Shukla, Mrs. Manishi Singh, Mrs. Shiva Somvanshi, Chandraprabha Rahgadale, Anshuman Kaser, Sirij Pal, and board officials.
