Master Trainers Being Created Through Parakh’s Resource Persons
Under the National Education Policy 2020, a workshop-cum-training session for the creation of question paper templates was inaugurated under the guidance of Mrs. Renu Ji Pille, Chairperson of the Mandal, and Mrs. Pushpa Sahu, Secretary. The workshop is being held from February 5 to February 7, with the aim of training master trainers for creating question paper templates. This workshop seeks to bring uniformity to the question papers of all national-level boards.
On the first day, a resource person from NCERT Parakh, New Delhi, explained the school education structure 5-3-3-4 under NEP 2020. The session also emphasized reducing rote learning tendencies and focusing on competency-based learning. The workshop focuses on creating uniformity across all boards through Parakh and is working on the Holistic Progress Card. Information on assessments and different types of assessments was shared. It was explained in detail what assessment is and the types of assessments. The session highlighted how assessment methods would change in the future and what form they would take. Resource persons explained how questions are categorized based on cognitive, co-cognitive levels, difficulty levels, and types.
Master trainers were divided into groups and practiced using the 2024 board exam question papers of Chhattisgarh. Participants practiced identifying the types and difficulty levels of various questions in the sample papers. The training workshop was attended by Mandal President Mrs. Renu Ji Pille, Secretary Mrs. Pushpa Sahu, and the resource persons from Parakh, who discussed various points with the participants. Deputy Secretary Mr. J.K. Agrawal joined the trainees in a group to demonstrate how question paper designs are created. The session was conducted by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Assistant Professor, who provided organization and facilitation of the workshop. Mrs. Preeti Shukla, Mrs. Shiva Somvanshi, and other Mandal officials were also present.
