PSC Preliminary Exam on 9th February, Over 3,000 Candidates at 12 Centers in the District
Collector Holds Meeting with Observers and Center Heads, Issues Important Directives
Balodabazar, >> The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) is conducting the Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2024 on 9th February 2025. A total of 12 centers have been established in the district for this exam, with 3,595 candidates expected to participate. Collector Deepak Soni held a meeting with the exam center heads and observers on Wednesday and, while highlighting the sensitivity of the exam, instructed them to take extra precautions and be vigilant. He clearly directed that all protocols must be strictly followed, and no negligence will be tolerated.
Collector Soni emphasized that the responsibilities and tasks for the exam duty have been defined by the commission, and all related officials must follow these instructions. In case of any issues, the nodal officer or coordinator of the exam should be informed. He further advised them to thoroughly review the exam guidelines, understand the exam schedule, and inform their subordinate staff as well. The district administration will offer support if any exam center requires assistance related to the exam.
Exam Centers – For the CGPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2024, 12 exam centers have been established in the district. These include:

- Government Minimata Girls’ College Balodabazar
- Pandit Chakrapani Government Higher Secondary School Balodabazar
- Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School MDV Balodabazar
- Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School Arjuni
- Ambuja Vidyapeeth Rawan
- Gurukul English Medium Higher Secondary School Balodabazar
- RKJ Higher Secondary School Kokdi
- Saraswati Shishu Mandir Balodabazar
- Ahilya International School Lahod
- Sacred Heart High School Balodabazar
- Shashwat Higher Secondary School Bhatagav
A total of 3,595 candidates will appear at these 12 centers. The exam will be conducted in two shifts.
The meeting was attended by the exam’s nodal officer and Deputy Collector Arun Kumar Sonkar, Assistant Nodal Officer District Education Officer Himanshu Bhartiya, along with the center heads and observers.
