Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai Meets Legend 90 Organizing Committee
Presented with a Jersey featuring 21, the CM’s Birthdate, and Invited to the Event
Raipur >> Today, the members of the organizing committee for the Legend 90 Cricket League met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office, where they presented him with an invitation to the competition. The Legend 90 Cricket League will be held from 6th to 18th February at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Raipur. On this occasion, the CEO of Legend 90, Tarunesh Singh Parihar, presented CM Sai with a special jersey featuring the number 21, representing the CM’s birthdate.
This year, the Legend 90 Cricket League will be held for the first time in India. The tournament will take place at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur, from 6th to 18th February 2025. The event is an international-level prestigious competition that has previously been held in various countries, including Sri Lanka.
The league will feature top international players like Chris Gayle, David Warner, Harbhajan Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Matthew Wade, Moeen Ali, Aaron Finch, Tisara Perera, Robin Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik, Shaun Marsh, Martin Guptill, Kedar Jadhav, Ben Dunk, Shakib Al Hasan, and Daniel Christian.
During the meeting, CEO Tarunesh Singh Parihar shared detailed information about the competition and highlighted the importance of this historic event in Chhattisgarh. Balvinder Singh, Rahul Bhadoria (Director, Sports Mint), Sadhan Ghosh (Director, Yaro), Gaurav Batra, and Rajeev Soni were also present.

CM’s Appeal to Cricket Fans
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai appealed to cricket lovers to attend the Legend 90 Cricket League and support the players. He emphasized that the state government has taken several steps to improve sports infrastructure, including rewarding Olympic medalists and organizing the Bastar Olympics, which saw participation from 165,000 people. The CM expressed the state’s commitment to further enhancing cricket infrastructure in Chhattisgarh, ensuring that exciting matches at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium continue in the future.
