Budget Session 2025: Speaker Dr. Raman Singh Convenes Business Advisory Committee Meeting, Hosts ‘Brahma Bhoj’ with Legislators
Raipur >> The Budget Session of the Sixth Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly commenced with a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee, chaired by Speaker and Rajnandgaon MLA Dr. Raman Singh. The meeting saw the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Leader of Opposition Charandas Mahant, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kedar Kashyap, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Finance Minister OP Choudhary, and all committee members.
Following the meeting, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh welcomed Governor Shri Ramen Deka to the Assembly premises. After the reception, the Governor delivered his address in the Assembly, marking the formal beginning of the session.
Later, Dr. Raman Singh met with newly elected mayors from the 2025 Urban Body Elections, congratulating them and extending his best wishes for their tenure.
The Speaker, along with the Chief Minister, cabinet members, and legislators, also attended the Sneha Milan Ceremony & Brahma Bhoj organized by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya. The event featured discussions on spirituality, peace, and social harmony.
Additionally, Dr. Raman Singh visited Nawa Raipur (Atal Nagar) to inspect the progress of the new Assembly building under construction. He reviewed the project with officials, provided necessary instructions, and emphasized the need for timely completion with high-quality standards.
